The house sits on a quiet residential close in Cheshunt, a Hertfordshire town on the northern edge of Greater London. Local shops, supermarkets, pubs and takeaways are within walking distance, and the Brookfield shopping area is a short drive. Green space is a big part of the area, with the Lee Valley Regional Park running along the eastern side of town and Cedars Park nearby.

Cheshunt station has direct trains into London Liverpool Street, with Theobalds Grove and Waltham Cross stations also within easy reach. Buses run along the main roads into Waltham Cross and Enfield. Drivers have quick access to the A10 and to Junction 25 of the M25, which puts wider Hertfordshire, Essex and north London within easy reach. The driveway takes three cars.

Lee Valley White Water Centre, built for the London 2012 Games, offers rafting and kayaking sessions in nearby Waltham Cross. The wider Lee Valley Park has walking and cycling trails, lakes and nature reserves.
