A first-floor 2-bedroom apartment in a modern low-rise block in Stanwell. 68 sqm, with a contemporary neutral palette and wood-effect flooring through the living areas.

The open-plan kitchen-lounge-diner runs across the front of the apartment with French doors and a Juliet balcony looking out across green fields. The kitchen is in white handleless cabinetry with a blue mosaic splashback, granite-effect worktops, electric oven and gas hob with chimney extractor, integrated dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave, washer-dryer, kettle and toaster.

A glass dining table seats four with leather chairs. The lounge area has a brown corner sofa, glass coffee table, wall-mounted smart TV, and a large statement round mirror on the feature wall.

Bedroom 1 is a twin with 2 single beds, an upholstered panel headboard, walnut wardrobe and bedside tables, and bedside lamps. The ensuite is a corner quadrant shower room with an electric shower, white pedestal basin, toilet and chrome heated towel rail.

Bedroom 2 has a double bed with an upholstered headboard, walnut wardrobe with mirrored doors, bedside tables and lamps. Map artwork and a view onto greenery.

The family bathroom has a bath with overhead electric shower, glass screen, white pedestal basin and toilet, finished in grey marble-effect tile with a chrome heated towel rail.

WiFi runs throughout. Heated by central heating with a wall thermostat. Self check-in by keybox at the front door of the block. One allocated parking space.

Heathrow Living sits in Stanwell, immediately south of Heathrow Airport on the quiet residential edge of the village. The site backs onto open fields with playing fields to the west, and the apartments are positioned perpendicular to the runways – so they do not sit under the flight path and stay genuinely quiet day and night.

Day-to-day amenities are within walking distance. There is a convenience store a few minutes’ walk away, and a 24-hour Tesco Express next to Ashford Hospital around a kilometre away. Stanwell village has a small parade of shops and a couple of pubs. Staines town centre is a 10-minute drive and has the Elmsleigh Shopping Centre, the Two Rivers retail park, and a wide spread of independent restaurants – Mexican, Italian, Indian, Greek, Japanese and Turkish all within a short walk of each other along the High Street.

Thorpe Park is 15 minutes by car. LEGOLAND Windsor and the historic town of Windsor itself are both around 20 minutes away. Ascot Racecourse and Wentworth Golf Club are within easy reach for big race weekends and golfing days out. Runnymede, where the Magna Carta was sealed, sits on the Thames a few miles south.

Closer to home, Stanwell Moor, Staines Moor and the Colne Valley regional park offer walking and birdwatching, and the River Thames at Egham and Staines is the start of plenty of riverside pub walks. For families, Birdworld near Farnham and the Look Out Discovery Centre in Bracknell are 30-40 minutes by car. London itself is well under an hour by tube or train for everything from the Tower of London to West End theatre.
