The open-plan kitchen and dining space has twin skylights and a breakfast bar, and there is a lawned private garden with a patio at the far end. Driveway parking for one car, on-street parking close by, and keybox self check-in. Windsor Castle, the town centre and Legoland are all close by.

This is a three-storey semi-detached house of around 130 square metres, with a modern finish throughout and space for up to nine guests. Downstairs, a wide entrance hall with a feature staircase leads to the living room at the front, where a large corner sofa bed, a wall-mounted TV and a glass coffee table sit by the street-facing window. Double doors open into the dining area, which seats six at a white table with velvet chairs and has its own TV. The dining space runs straight into the kitchen at the rear, a bright room with twin skylights, a curved breakfast bar with stools, an eye-level oven, a gas hob, a washing machine and a coffee machine. There is also a WC on the ground floor.

On the first floor are three bedrooms and the family bathroom. The main bedroom has a 5ft king zip-and-link bed, a wall-mounted TV, a wardrobe and a dressing table, and a travel cot is available here. The second bedroom is a twin with two single beds and a TV, and the third is a single room, also with a TV. The family bathroom has a bath with a shower over it.

The whole second floor is given to the loft bedroom, which has a second 5ft king zip-and-link bed, a TV and its own ensuite shower room. Both king beds can be made up as twins on request.

Outside, the private garden is mostly lawn, with a paved patio and pergola at the far end. There is free parking for one car on the driveway, with unrestricted on-street parking close by, and self check-in is by keybox so you can arrive in your own time. Wi-Fi is included.

The house is on a quiet residential street in Windsor, about a mile from the town centre. Windsor is best known for the castle and the Long Walk, and the town has a good mix of restaurants, pubs and independent shops along the riverside and around the main shopping streets. Eton and its famous college are just across the footbridge over the Thames, and Windsor Great Park is a short drive or a pleasant walk away.

Windsor has two railway stations, both around a mile from the house. Windsor & Eton Central connects to London Paddington via Slough, and Windsor & Eton Riverside runs direct to London Waterloo. By car, junction 6 of the M4 is a few minutes away, Heathrow Airport is around 20 minutes and Legoland Windsor is about 10 minutes. Local buses run from stops close by.

Windsor Castle, the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world, is the town’s main draw, with the Changing of the Guard and the State Apartments. Legoland Windsor is a short drive away and makes a full day out for families. Windsor Great Park offers the Long Walk, deer and Virginia Water lake. Eton College sits just over the river, boat trips run along the Thames from the town centre in season, and Ascot Racecourse is around fifteen minutes by car.
