Description

A three-bedroom semi-detached house in central Windsor, a short walk from Windsor Castle, the Long Walk and the town centre. Sleeps five across a king room, a twin room and a single room. Downstairs there is a living room with two sofas, a dining area and a kitchen, with French doors onto a long enclosed garden. Driveway parking for two cars and free WiFi.

This semi-detached house sleeps five guests across three bedrooms and sits on a residential street in central Windsor.

The front door opens into a hallway with a shoe bench and stairs up to the first floor. The living room has two sofas, an armchair and a wall-mounted TV, and opens through an arch to the dining area, where a glass table seats four and French doors lead out to the garden. The kitchen has a gas cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, kettle, toaster and a cafetiere.

Upstairs are three bedrooms: a king room with a wardrobe, dressing table and full-length mirror, a twin room with two single beds and its own TV, and a single room with a dressing table. The family bathroom has a bath with an overhead shower, and there is a separate WC.

Outside, the enclosed rear garden is laid with artificial lawn on two levels, with a raised planter and outdoor seating. The driveway at the front has space for two cars, and free WiFi runs throughout the house.

The house sits in a residential pocket of central Windsor, a few streets from the town centre. Windsor Castle, the Long Walk and the shops, cafes and restaurants around Peascod Street are all within a fifteen minute walk. Home Park and the River Thames are close by for riverside walks, and Eton is just across the bridge from the town centre.

Windsor has two train stations, both around a fifteen minute walk from the house. Windsor and Eton Central runs to London Paddington with a change at Slough, and Windsor and Eton Riverside runs direct to London Waterloo. By road, junction 6 of the M4 is a short drive away and Heathrow Airport is around twenty minutes by car. Local buses run from the town centre, and the house has driveway parking for two cars.

Windsor Castle is the obvious first stop, with St George’s Chapel and the Changing of the Guard. The Long Walk starts at the castle gates and stretches through Windsor Great Park. Legoland Windsor is around ten minutes by car, Royal Windsor Racecourse is a five minute drive, and Ascot Racecourse is around twenty minutes away. Boat trips run along the Thames from the town centre, and Eton College and its high street are a short walk across the river.
