THE SPACE
A semi-detached family house set over two floors in south Leicester, sleeping up to eight across four bedrooms and a lounge sofa bed. The layout suits contractor teams, families and longer stays, with a ground floor bedroom for anyone who prefers to avoid stairs.

The front lounge has a bay window, a corner sofa that converts to a bed for one smaller adult, a wall mounted TV above a feature fireplace and a round dining table with four chairs. The kitchen sits at the back of the house with a gas hob and oven, fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine with built-in dryer, a Nespresso pod coffee machine, kettle and four slice toaster. A door leads from the kitchen out to the rear patio. The ground floor bedroom is at the rear with two single beds and a wardrobe.

Upstairs there are two double bedrooms and a single. The front double has a bay window, a TV and a desk with a chair for anyone working during their stay. The second double also has a TV plus an armchair and side table. The single room comes with a clothes rail, and all rooms are made up with fresh linen and towels. The family bathroom has a bath with an overhead shower, a basin and WC.

Outside there is an enclosed paved patio at the rear and driveway parking for two cars at the front. Check-in is self service via a key box, Wi-Fi runs at around 94 Mbps, and the house has gas central heating throughout. An iron and vacuum are provided.

The city centre has Highcross shopping centre, Leicester Market and the cathedral quarter, along with a wide choice of restaurants. Leicester is known for its food scene, with the Golden Mile on Belgrave Road famous for its Indian restaurants and sweet shops.

Regular buses run into Leicester city centre from the main roads near the house. Leicester railway station is around two miles away with direct trains to London St Pancras in just over an hour and to Birmingham in under an hour. Drivers have quick access to the ring road, with the M1 at junction 21 and the M69 both around fifteen minutes away, and Fosse Park retail park a short drive from the house. East Midlands Airport is roughly forty minutes by car.

Leicester City’s King Power Stadium and Leicester Tigers’ Welford Road rugby ground are both within easy reach, making the house a good base on match days. In the city centre you can visit the King Richard III Visitor Centre, Leicester Cathedral and the Curve theatre, with the National Space Centre a little further north. Victoria Park hosts events through the year, and the universities and Leicester Royal Infirmary are close for anyone visiting or working in the city.
